The Agrocapital Foundation was created on January 23, 1992 with the purpose of providing Financial Services in the rural and urban areas of our country. Agrocapital uses the appropriate financial instruments and mechanisms to attain its goals.

Our strategic plan as defined by our vision: "We integrate the rural sector into the national economy, as a profitable and reliable institution that provides efficient, customized and dynamic financial services".

The Mission: "We are a Financial Institution engaged with the economic agents of the rural sector, providing access to competitive and integral financial services.

Please take a moment to get to know AgroCapital's headquarters here:

We rely on highly qualified personnel and technology to take care of our clients needs throughout the country”.

Agrocapital considers a financial organization to be a type of development tool that uses strategies to fight against poverty and generate income. It is for this reason that the rural sector of the community, having been abandoned by the formal financial system, remains our highest-priority, as they are the clients with the greatest need.

Agrocapital finances the following sectors: Farming, Agro-industrial and Commercial. Other services include, microcredit products, commercial credits and communal banks; for this Agrocapital depends on the Central office located in Cochabamba “Nataniel Aguirre no. 669" and 12 other agencies located in the main cities of Bolivia (La Paz; El Alto; Cochabamba City: “Nataniel Aguirre casi Uruguay No. 669”; Entre Rivers and one in Ivirgarzama; Santa Cruz: Mineros, Montero, Warnes, San Pedro, Yapacaní, San Julián, El Abasto (city) and La Ramada (city), with a total of 130 civil employees in the entire organization as of July 2007.
