That is why I began this business which has allowed my wife and me to progress. Nevertheless, the sound system that I use was purchased 10 years ago, and it is starting to break down. That is why I am asking for a $1,200 dollar loan to purchase a sound system more suitable for the job. This will help me to be more efficient in my mobile publicity business and my clients will see more success in the products that they offer.”

update on loan to Pedro Morales Entrepreneur: Pedro Morales Diaz Location: Nuevo Laredo, Mexico Update from Brendan McBride, Kiva Fellow with FVP in Nuevo Laredo: In the spring Mr. Morales paid off his Kiva loan, which he used to buy new sound equipment for improving the quality of his rolling advertisements. He is now providing advertising services for businesses as small as a family corner store and as large as Walmart, announcing his clients’ deals, sales, and promotions by loudspeaker as he rolls through the city. His current project is to move to 100% digital recordings of the advertisements. He shares recording facilities with other family members in the same business, who each have their own clients but share equipment and pool their resources to pay for accounting services, for example. “Everyone wants to sell!” exclaimed Mr. Morales, and with the help of Kiva loan Mr. Morales has been able to help merchants in Nuevo Laredo do this.
