Ali bought new equipment Entrepreneur: Ali Location: Jnah-beirut, Lebanon Ali is an independent building contractor, doing work such as plumbing, electric installations, tiling, installing heating units, and painting. We met Ali at one of his sites in Beirut where he was installing new plumbing. He used the loan he obtained to buy equipment for his work. Unfortunately, a compressor he bought with the loan was stolen at a work site he was working at. This has not stopped him from continuing to provide his services. He has managed to make due by borrowing a compressor from fellow contractors. Ali hopes that in the future he will be able to expand his business to a point where he can hire workers to complete larger projects. Once he has more equipment and tools, he will be able to take on larger projects and have a higher turnover.
